The Music Industry Trusts Award

PPL is proud to be a sponsor of the 2014 Music Industry Trusts (MITS) Award which will be presented on Monday 3rd November at a gala dinner in aid of Nordoff Robbins and the BRIT Trust.

The MITS Award is a true recognition of achievement and generosity in the British music business. This year, the recipient of this prestigious award will be Michael Eavis, creator of the much-loved and world-famous Glastonbury Festival, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the UK’s live music industry and many charitable causes.

The Music Industry Trusts Award, now in its 23rd year, was founded to recognise outstanding achievement in the UK music industry as well as benefiting music charity Nordoff Robbins and the BRIT Trust, and has raised over £4.3 million to date.

It has earned its respected place in the entertainment industry due to the great names that have held this honour, including: Annie Lennox, Gary Barlow OBE, Sir George Martin, Ahmet Ertegun, Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin, John Barry, Michael Parkinson, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and Jools Holland.
