PPL wins ‘Company of the Year’ at Employee Engagement Awards 2017
Music licensing company, PPL, is celebrating after picking up the employee engagement 'Company of the Year – Small to Medium Business' award at last week’s Employee Engagement Awards 2017, held at Wembley Stadium.
PPL picked up the Company of the Year award in the small to medium-sized business category, seeing off competition from seven other finalists. PPL was also highly-commended in the Customer Engagement category and nominated for awards in three categories overall.
Following a thorough internal review, a number of initiatives have been implemented over the past year within PPL. Amongst these is new branding for employee communications and a dedicated staff magazine – Pulse – as well as quarterly events for its 300 staff to share company news, introduce new recruits and involve PPL’s employees in the development of company strategy.
The Customer Engagement commendation was received on the back of the development of our Quality Assurance process by introducing a more efficient and effective system to monitor and score calls as taken by our staff when dealing with PPL’s members and licensees.
