PPL sponsored the award for Outstanding Contribution to UK Music, won by Sir George Martin.
Sir George Martin is pictured right with PPL's Chairman Fran Nevrkla.
"I'm so thrilled by this," Sir George Martin said, "because I never thought I'd get any more awards. I didn't even think you gave awards to 80-year-olds... and I've been out of work for a few years.
"It's a very nice award. I have one little space on the mantelpiece that's still vacant, so this'll do it."
PPL congratulates all the winners at the Music Producer Guild Awards 2013. The awards took place at Cafe de Paris in London on Thursday 7 February.
