STEP ONE - DOWNLOAD PPL APP V4.2
Using the login details that have been e-mailed to you, you should access the database by going to www.ppluk.com/repertoire and clicking on the red login banner midway down the page. Click on the Download Application button to proceed and follow the installation instructions. The software is compatible with Windows Vista*/XP and Apple Mac OSX.2 and above.
*Please note that Windows Vista users should follow the specific Vista installation guide on the Download Application page
STEP TWO - START YOUR REGISTRATION

Registering a recording or video
Open PPL App V4.2 to begin. To set up a recording or a video, please click on the Create button and complete the form. You will need to complete all three tabs (Recording Details, Contributors, Rights Holders). A brief explanation of each field is available by moving your mouse over the field name. Once you have completed everything, click on save. You can then either continue registering more recordings/videos (by clicking on Create again) or you can click on Send to send the information to the database.
Registering a product.
If you need to register a product information (i.e. information about an album or a single), you should click on the Products tab and click on Create. You should set up each of the recordings that appear on the release in the Recordings tab before beginning the Products tab. Please note that you do NOT need to set up a product if you are registering a one-track download release or a video.
Defaults
Please note that the Set-Up Defaults option on the top of the software allows you to specify certain fields to be automatically populated each time you create a new recording. This will save you time if each of the recordings/products you are registering have similar information
STEP THREE - WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
All recordings received by 1600 will be available in the Repertoire Database by 0900 the following day. If your recording or product is in exception, please e-mail the ISRC or catalogue number to repertoire@ppluk.com. Your PPL/VPL application forms will be sent to you within 10 working days.
