London – How to register your repertoire

PPL is hosting a London event for #PPLinSession: How to register your repertoire. The event will take place on Wednesday 22 January from 5.00pm – 7.00pm.

This free PPL tutorial will run through demonstrations of the Register Repertoire tool on myPPL, and explore the features available. As a PPL member, you are required to register your sound recordings with us. This helps to ensure the right people are paid for the use of their recorded music. Recordings must be registered by 31 January each year in order to be eligible for inclusion in PPL’s main UK distribution payment made later that year.

The Register Repertoire tool provides recording rightsholders with a faster and more efficient process for registering recordings, providing greater control and making managing recording data easier than ever before. The tool has been designed to give users the ability to upload recordings in bulk, register individual recordings and releases, as well as the ability to edit thousands of recordings at any one time.
