The APM is a chance for our performer members to make their voices heard and influence what the elected representatives can do for them.
Eligible performers
The APM is a meeting for Eligible Performers. For the purposes of this year’s APM, this means performers who are registered with PPL and who have received any UK or international performer payment from us in 2024, 2025 and/or between 1 January and 30 June 2026.
Performer Director elections
Two Performer Directors will be elected at this year’s APM. For the two positions being elected this year, PPL’s constitutional rules require that all candidates must be representative of, or predominantly associated with, Featured Performers. You do not have to be a performer to be a candidate.
You must also be nominated by at least 10 Eligible Performers (as set out above) and provide an election statement of up to 500 words on your suitability for the position.
The candidate nomination period closed at 1pm on Tuesday, 22 September 2026.
Voting information
After the nomination deadline, the election statements from the confirmed candidates will be available via our website for Eligible Performers to read.
Voting for the Performer Directors will take place in advance of the APM. Our partner, Civica Election Services, will contact Eligible Performers with more voting details nearer the time (directly or via the designated representative who manages their PPL account). We will also update this page, so please check back for the latest information.
Online voting will not open until after the candidate nomination process has been completed and the confirmed list of election candidates has been published. Please note there will not be an opportunity to vote on the day itself.
Candidates may decide to promote their candidacy through other media, but PPL is impartial in this process and will not endorse or be associated with any such promotion.
APM 2026 – meeting details
This year’s APM will be held on Wednesday, 4 November at 1pm at Fringe Central, 6 Infirmary St, Edinburgh EH1 1LS.
Invitations to this year’s APM have been sent directly to Eligible Performers – or, where applicable, via their designated representative who manages their PPL account. Any questions can be submitted ahead of the event from any performers who are unable to attend.

Please RSVP by emailing apm@ppluk.com, including your full name and PPL ID, by 1pm on Thursday, 29 October 2026.
If you’re unable to attend on 4 November but wish to appoint a proxy to do so on your behalf, please email us at apm@ppluk.com and we can advise you of the process.
