PPL has signed two-time BRIT Award nominee, Irish singer-songwriter CMAT for the collection of international neighbouring rights royalties. She joins performers such as Charli xcx, Dua Lipa and The Last Dinner Party, who have selected PPL for international collections.

CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson) has established herself as one of Ireland’s most critically acclaimed singer-songwriters, known for her sharp lyricism and artful blend of country and pop.

The Dunboyne native saw success from day one with her debut album “If My Wife New I’d Be Dead”, charting at number one on the Ireland Album Chart and winning RTE’s Choice Music Prize album of the year in 2023. Her second album, “Crazymad, for Me” was nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2024. She has been nominated for two Brit Award categories, an Ivor Novello Award and a Mercury Prize, for her critically acclaimed 2025 album “Euro-Country” and viral hit ‘Take a Sexy Picture of Me’. Following its release, she performed at Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid stage in 2025 and at Coachella in 2026.
