PPL has paid out £77.7 million to over 28,000 performers and recording rightsholders in its Q1 2026 distribution.

The Q1 distribution constitutes UK and international income collected in the latter part of 2025, and the first few months of 2026.

The Q1 2026 distribution also includes revenue from VPL, PPL’s sister company, which licenses music videos when they are played in public or broadcast on TV.

This quarter’s distribution includes initial payments from collective management organisation (CMO) CAPIF in Argentina for recording rightsholders, underscoring PPL’s effectiveness in enabling new revenue to flow from the agreements it signs.
