We work closely with organisations across the UK and globally to advocate for, support and collaborate with the music community.
In the UK
UK Music is the collective voice of the UK’s world-leading music industry. PPL is a member of UK Music, alongside AIM, the BPI, FAC, The Ivors, MMF, MPA, MPG, MU and PRS for Music.
PPL CEO Peter Leathem OBE is a UK Music board member.

PPL PRS Ltd
Together, PPL and PRS own the public performance licensing joint venture, PPL PRS Ltd. PPL PRS provides customers with a streamlined music licensing service, The Music Licence, for playing or performing music in public.
BCC
The British Copyright Council is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a forum for discussion of copyright law and related issues at UK, European and International levels. The BCC is independent, receives no government funding and is the only organisation of its kind in the UK. Camilla Waite, PPL General Counsel, is a Director.
Equity
Equity is the UK trade union for professional performers and creative practitioners.
International affiliations
IFPI
IFPI is the voice of the recording industry worldwide. IFPI and its network of National Groups and Local Associations represents the interests of some 8,000 members across the globe.
SCAPR
The Societies’ Council for the Collective Management of Performers’ Rights (SCAPR) operates as the umbrella organisation for performer CMOs around the world, representing 60 CMOs from 45 countries.

DDEX
DDEX is a standards setting organisation focused on the creation of digital value chain standards to make the exchange of data and information across the music industry more efficient.
