Why has my account been debited?

If your account had a positive balance but was later debited, your statement will show the reason. Here are some possible causes.

  • A performer successfully claiming royalties for a track you were previously linked to.
  • An incorrect listing on a recording, resulting in removal.
  • A change in contribution category or residency affecting your payments.
  • For recording rightsholders:
    – Your recordings may have been transferred to another member.
    – Additional performers may have been added to your track.
    – You may have received an advance that exceeded your distribution earnings.
