Distribution rules
Our Distributions follow clear sets of rules approved by the PPL Board.
Registering a release is important as it can help to maximise your revenue with PPL. For example, some broadcasters might provide PPL with release information (e.g. catalogue numbers) when reporting airplay.
This will be beneficial if you are seeking to register one recording at a time. The process applies to the registration of both a sound and a video recording (you will be able to select this type within the recording journey).
In myPPL, Managing Repertoire is a separate area within the Register Repertoire section that gives you a single point of access to perform a variety of actions against your recordings, releases and defaults.
