Governance
Codes of Conduct
Our Codes of Conduct set out our key commitments to members and licensees, including details of our comments, feedback and complaints procedures.
The Codes cover important information about PPL (and how to find out more), what members and licensees can expect from us, and how members and licensees can help us to help them.
Distribution rules
The money that we collect through UK licensing and collecting royalties abroad is distributed to the performers and recording rightsholder members we represent. Our distributions follow clear sets of rules approved by the PPL Board.
VPL’s UK distributions operate according to the VPL Distribution Rules approved by the VPL Board.
The PPL Board has also approved a separate set of International Distribution Rules which apply to the distribution of revenue received from PPL International Royalties collections service.
The operation of these different rules is summarised in the Guide to the Distribution rules.
Articles of Association
These are our main constitutional documents. They set out our formal membership requirements, board structure and the rules governing general meetings.
